As an architect, artist, and former engineer I am passionate about craft, innovation, and the intersection of art, technology and design. With ten years of experience in the US and abroad, I possess a uniquely versatile and interdisciplinary skill set, being able to work across a range of project types on teams both big and small. I do not settle for mediocrity and believe firmly that through a willingness to experiment, beauty and inventiveness can be achieved with even the smallest budget or the most difficult constraints.

Project Types:   Residential, Commercial (Restaurants + Kitchens)

Key Projects:    Easy Monkey Taproom Expansion, Little River Circle Farms 

Role + Responsibilities:   Lead architect for a number of innovative residential renovation projects and a restaurant/bar expansion. Responsible for all aspects of the projects including developing the program and concept with the clients, code and permitting coordination, schedule and budget management, and design documentation.

Role + Responsibilities:  Project designer on a small team for a number of new and interior renovation projects for Tom Douglas Restaurants. Tasks included: composing feasibility studies and pre-design reports; site and environmental studies; conceptual and schematic design; diagramming; drafting and construction documentation; 3D modeling and visualization; consultant coordination; client and stakeholder presentations.

Role + Responsibilities:   Led curtain wall design, consultant coordination, BIM management and technical detailing for 40-story high-rise project in Belltown, Seattle. Collaborated and led the design process for multiple complex healthcare tenant improvement projects from pre-design through construction completion including: user group meetings and research; space planning; programming; code analysis; permitting; bidding; budgeting; construction administration; materials selection; detailing; presentation graphics.
