LOCATION: Pullman, WA

CLIENT: Washington State University

ROLE/FIRM: Intern, Olson Kundig Architects

STATUS: Complete

This project, led by Jim Olson, is located on a prominent site of the WSU campus. The 10,000 square foot addition of galleries to the existing WSU Museum of Art facilities will serve as an anchor and gathering space for the community, housing much of the school’s dynamic collection. Additionally, the project has received a generous donation from patron Jordan Schnitzer, whose post-modern and pop-art collection will be on rotation.

ROLE/CONTRIBUTIONS:

Staff designer;  site and environmental analysis and research;  site and building modeling in CAD, Sketchup; scheme development & coordination  with design team; collections research; landscape consultant coordination; programming studies; graphics, renderings and presentations; production and assembly of final recommendation report and proposal for client.
